A phase-change material (PCM) is a substance which releases/absorbs sufficient energy at phase transition to provide useful heat or cooling.  (It can change from solid to gel and back again in most applications.)

• PCM's melt and freeze again and again releasing energy similar to an ice cube melting.  The chemical can be "tuned" to whatever temperature between -80F and 300F you wish to hold in a space.  (Buildings, Trucks, Packaging as prime examples.)

PCM does not replace insulation or HVAC equipment.  It is, essentially, a rechargeable thermal battery.  However, when simply introduced into a space, it allows for the energy/temperature produced by the HVACR systems to be stored and recycled to reduce runtime, affiliated utility costs and wear-and-tear on equipment extending lifespan and protecting your investment in costly mechanicals.  Benefits and long-term savings include:

Buildings (Blankets) - Just laid over ceiling tiles.  Very simple installation. (Need 65% sq footage coverage for optimum efficiency)

Buildings (Panels) - We can install many ways and design for various applications like loading docks and walk-ins.  Discreet installs.  Typically, up in the rafters of exposed ceilings.

 

Data Centers (Panels) - We have wall mounted racking systems that the panels clip into since aesthetics isn't a major consideration.

 

Walk ins (Panels) - We have clips to snap the panels in under shelving/racking.

 

Bottles/Bricks/Flex Mats - Placed within packages for shipping.
